I still fight with my regrets

I've seen lightning bolts be colors of the stars

And I've seen ghosts

Riders on a highway driving cars

Hammering their pain into an art

Would that fill up my soul?

I know it don't sound too rock and roll

But Today I'll get things done

I play these scenes down low

As thunder cracks across the sky

And all the games of heaven

I'll dig a well and a sheltered place to be

I'll make progress with the sun until it hurts

Stick my feet out

Roll my toes in the dirt
